The beauty of ring slings is that they are very quick and easy to put on. They consist of a piece of fabric which threads through the rings to form a loop. You can adjust the size of the loop according to the size of the baby and the carrier to get excellent support and comfort for you both. You can breastfeed easily while wearing a ring sling; if your baby falls asleep you can easily lay them down without waking them up. They are also easy to pop your baby in and out of; which is handy once they are mobile and like to be allowed out to explore the world but still come back up for a cuddle now and then.
Ring slings are suitable for carrying all ages and sizes of babies and toddlers until they no longer want to be carried. There are a variety of carrying positions including cradle hold for a newborn or a sleeping baby, tummy to tummy for babies who prefer an upright position, on the hip and on the back. Ring slings are perfect for breastfeeding in, if you want to be able to breastfeed discreetly then a nursing top can be useful.

Ellaroo Lightly Padded Sling (Plain)
I can highly recommend the Ellaroo Sling. It's one of our favourites! There is only a touch of light padding in this sling so it is easy to adjust, folds up small and is cool to wear. The Ellaroo Sling spreads out well over the shoulder and across the back making for an exceptionally comfortable carry. It is suitable for babies and toddlers of all ages and can be used in a variety of positions. The Ellaroo Sling is particularly good for breastfeeding in.
The tail of the Ellaroo Sling is open rather than sewn together which means that each sling fits a big size range. The fabric is beautiful quality 100% cotton with 100% organic cotton padding in the shoulder and the rails. The rings are lightweight aluminium. The Ellaroo Sling may be machine washed on a gentle cycle.

We only keep in stock the medium size which is suitable for most people; however we can sometimes source you a small or large if required but availability is limited and the colour choices may be different to the ones on our website.

The main fabric of the Ellaroo Lightly Padded sling is 100% cotton, and the padding is 100% recycled polyester.

Ellaroo Lightly Padded Sling (organic)
Manufactured to the same popular design as the plain Ellaroo Lightly Padded Sling (see details above), but made with beautifully soft 100% organic cotton sateen (which has a slightly silky look and feel).
This beautiful organic ring sling from Ellaroo is currently available in four beautiful fabrics with the attractive floral design is on the tail of the sling only.
The fabrics available are Mango Sky (shown on the left), Mango Stone, Malay and Brasilia (due in September). The Mango Stone and Mango Sky designs are printed onto the fabric. With the Brasilia and Malay designs there is also some embroidery around the floral designs. The Ellaroo Organic Sling may be machine washed on a gentle cycle.
In stock in the medium size only this sling will fit most people. It is beautiful, elegant, easy to use, comfortable and versatile. We can usually source you a small or large size if required, but it may take us a few weeks.

Fabric Information
The Organic Ellaroo Lightly Padded Sling is made of 100% organic cotton, with 100% recycled polyester padding in the rails and shoulder. The colour choices are shown in the pictures below.

Maya Wrap
Beautiful and versatile, the Maya Wrap is made of Guatemalan woven fabric in wonderful vibrant colours. It is an unpadded ring sling which means it is very easy to adjust to achieve a perfect fit whatever your size. The rings are lightweight aluminum which grip the fabric well.
As with the other ring slings the Maya Wrap is suitable for use from birth but is also great for carrying even heavy toddlers who have had enough of walking and want a cuddle.
The fabric is lightweight and comfortable to wear. As with all the ring slings the Maya Wrap can be used in a variety of positions depending on the age and preference of your baby.
The Maya Wrap comes with a comprehensive set of instructions on DVD.

Maya Wrap Sizing
We stock the Maya Wrap in a medium size which is suitable for almost everyone as the lack of padding makes it easy to adjust. You will just have a longer or shorter tail depending on your size. If you require a small or a large size please contact us and we can order one in for you.

Maya Padded Sling
Also from Maya Wrap in the US this beautiful sling has just a touch of padding in the shoulder for your comfort yet is still cool to wear and isn't bulky. Made from the same beautiful woven Guatemalan cotton as the original Maya Wrap, this is a really lovely sling and is easy to use and adjust.
The rings in the Maya Padded Sling are made of aluminium which is light-weight and grips the fabric well. There is a handy pocket on the tail of the sling which fastens with a zip.
As with all ring slings the Maya Padded Sling can be used in a variety of positions depending on the age and preference of your baby. It is ideal to use from birth; but spreads the weight very effectively across the shoulder and back, so is suitable for using with older babies and toddlers too.
The Maya Padded Sling comes with both a basic sheet of instructions and detailed DVD instructions included.

Maya Padded Sling Sizing
We stock the Maya Padded Sling in a small and medium size. The small is suitable for most people of small to average height and slim to average build. If you are taller than 5'8" or larger than dress size 18 then you would probably be best with a medium. The only difference in the sizing is the tail length, with the small being 6" shorter than the medium.

Storchenwiege Ring Sling
The Storchenwiege Ring Sling is made from the same beautiful fabrics as the popular Storchenwiege Wrap. The top quality woven cotton is durable with just the right amount of diagonal stretch in the weave to ensure maximum comfort for you and your baby.
The Storchenwiege Slings are manufactured in Germany. The fabric is prewashed and preshrunk and all the cotton used in the production of the Storchenwiege is Oeko Text 100 certified free from chemicals and residues. The Storchenwiege Ring Sling is machine washable at up to 60 degrees if required, it comes with a nylon washing bag to protect the rings and your machine during the wash cycle.
The Storchenwiege Ring Sling has aluminium rings and the tail of the sling is cut on a diagonal so it drapes well and is less bulky at the end than a straight cut edge would be. The top and bottom edge of the sling are different colours which makes it easy to adjust through the rings.
As with all ring slings the Storchenwiege Ring sling is very versatile and can be used in a variety of positions (including cradle, tummy to tummy, on the hip and on the back). The Storchenwiege Ring Sling comes with a detailed booklet of instructions.
The Storchenwiege Ring sling can be used from birth up to 35lb approximately. This sling comes in one size which will fit most people.
Storchenwiege Ring Sling Fabric Information
The Storchenwiege Ring Sling is 100% cotton and the dyes meet the Oeko Tex 100 standards.
We offer the striped Storchenwiege in the colours shown below: Inka, Anna and Ulli.
The plain colour Storchenwiege Slings are actually woven in a delicate diamond weave using two shades. From a distance they look like a solid colour but close up you can see the attractive diamond weave (see the enlarged portion of each swatch picture). The colours available are Leo Marine, Leo Turkis, Leo Natural and Leo Rouge.

Huggababy Sling
The Huggababy Sling is a padded ring sling made of a double layer of 100% cotton twill. There is padding in the top and bottom rails of the Huggababy, and in the shoulder. It can be machine washed at 40 degrees when necessary. The tail of the Huggababy is sewn closed which makes for a neater look that some people prefer. This also means that it's nice and easy to put on and re-threading the tail of the sling through the rings after washing is very straightforward. This is an excellent ring sling for those who are new to slings as it's particularly quick and easy to use.
