Hotslings Sizing Information

Hotslings Sizing Chart

Correct sizing for the Hotslings Pouch is essential for the comfort of both parents and baby. Use the chart above to check your size. The Hotslings Adjustable Pouch will fit sizes 2 to 5 on the chart. If you are outside this size range this sling will not be suitable for you and you will need to get a non-adjustable pouch, or consider a different type of sling.

  • If you are pregnant please use your pre-pregnancy weight
  • To measure from shoulder to hip: use a soft tape measure and start at the outer corner of your shoulder and measure diagonally across your body down to your hip bone, hold the measuring tape firmly to your body
  • If you are pregnant please measure across your back not across your bump
  • Please note that the measurements are given in inches
  • If you get more than one size recommended and have big boobs, broad shoulders or a big baby it's probably best to go for the larger size
  • If your sling is too small it will be really hard to either get it on, or really hard to squeeze your baby into it.
  • If the sling is too large it will generally feel uncomfortable, hang too low and not feel secure. The fit should be snug and high; if the baby is dangling away from you, you will need to go a size down
